The girlfriend of Cesc Fabregas may have sold the Spanish star a £5.5million London flat at a knock down price as she left her tycoon husband for the footballer, a High Court judge has ruled.
The Spanish international, 28, who earns around £150,000-a-week, bought the apartment in Belgravia in 2013, which Daniella Semaan had formerly shared with Elie Taktouk, 40.
But Ms Semaan's ex-husband has always insisted that the property was worth up to £2million more and called the deal a 'gross injustice'.
And now, after a hearing today, senior judge Lady Justice Gloster has given Mr Taktouk permission to fight on at the Court of Appeal - almost four years since the legal battle started.

Battle: Chelsea star Cesc Fabregas bought the Belgravia apartment from now girlfriend Daniella Semaan in 2013, which she shared with former husband Elie Taktouk, 40.
His barrister Nicholas Davidson QC said: 'Our evidence is that it was worth much more and that was on the basis of expert evidence'.
Mr Taktouk has claimed that the Belgravia flat should have secured £7million.
The legal battle erupted back in early 2013 when, during divorce proceedings, Mr Justice Coleridge ordered that Ms Semaan sell the house on the couple's behalf.
She was told to sell at the 'best reasonable price' and to appoint agents to market it.
However, she did not do that, instead agreeing a private sale to Mr Fabregas, who she had left Mr Taktouk for.

Jury finds Footballer Adam Johnson not guilty on one count of sexual activity with a child

Footballer Adam Johnson has been found not guilty of one count charge of sexual activity with a 15 year old girl, while the jury is still undecided on the other count of sexual activity by penetration, with the prosecuting counsel saying Johnson admitted the first two charges of kissing and grooming an underage girl so he could be set free from the more serious counts of sexual activity with a child.

Arriving at court today, Johnson was again accompanied by his ex-girlfriend Stacey Flounders, who has supported him during the trial and gave evidence for the defense, despite claiming she and the sacked footballer have split up.

The prosecuting counsel say Johnson had oral sex with the 15 year old girl and even penetrated her but the player and the defense counsel say he only kissed the girl.

Judge Jonathan Rose finished his summing up to the jury yesterday before telling them they should strive to reach unanimous verdicts.
He told them: ‘When you retire you must reach verdicts on which you are all agreed. I will only accept unanimous verdicts - 12-0 is the only possible score.’
The judge reminded the jury that Johnson deleted 834 WhatsApp message from his mobile phone.
The judge recalled that the player and the girl exchanged messages before the January 30 meeting about getting a thank-you kiss.
He said that in the messages Johnson said he was after 'a little bit more than kissing, a bit of feeling'.
The judge reminded the jury that, from the witness box, Johnson said
'I considered going as far as she would let me. I was hoping I could feel her body, her private parts. It would be the normal progression.'
'I was hoping it would happen, but it never happened.'
The judge said this was because the player said he realised it was the wrong thing to do.

The trial continues.

Want To Lose Weight: Eat A Handful Of Almond Daily

Have you been struggling to shed some weight with little or no result. I have a good news for you, according to reports of the new findings by University of Florida scientists - Eating a handful of almonds a day replaces those empty calories, while decreasing a person's salt intake and increasing their protein.

The findings suggest that incorporating almonds into a person’s diet could improve overall health.

The team of researchers set out to study the effect that the addition of almonds can have on a person’s diet.
They analyzed data collected from 28 parent-child pairs in North Central Florida.
For three weeks, the parent participants ate 1.5 ounces of whole almonds each day.
Similarly, the children ate half an ounce of whole almonds – or the equivalent amount of almond butter – each day.

At the beginning of the study, the scientists measured the participating parents and children’s Healthy Eating Index, which is a measurement of diet quality.

The Healthy Eating Index assesses a person’s adherence to the USDA’s Dietary Guidelines for Americans.

A score under 51 indicates a poor diet, while a score between 51 and 80 shows a need for improvement, and a score over 80 reflects a healthy diet.

The parents’ average score at the beginning of the 14-week period was 53.7 (plus or minus 1.cool, while the children’s were 53.7 (plus or minus 2.6).

However, after the almond intervention the Healthy Eating Index score for both parents and children increased.

The parents’ average rose to 61.4 (plus or minus 1.4), while the children’s average increased to 61.4 (plus or minus 2.2).

All participants also increased their component scores for protein foods.

Furthermore, they decreased their intake of empty calories.

The scientists believe that the participants were replacing salty and processed snacks with almonds.
